This year I've been invited to take part in exchange project between Wroclaw and Lille. I've spend a week in May in Lille which become an inspiration for the work that was featured in the book and just recently exhibit in Lille. Here some sneak peak of work I did for the book and few snaps form the show and preparation. Make sure to visit Knaplfa's blog an illustrator who visit Wroclaw and Nuit Myrtide Edition Independante a publisher who has started the project and made it happen.

Pick me up 2012
I manage to make a last minute trip to see this year edition of Pick me up one of my favorite events in London. As always there was a selection of great work from the top Rikka Sormunen, Sarah Maycock, Paul X Johnson, Stone and Spear, Ciara Phelan and Andrew Rae.

Image 35: Best of British Illustration 2011
Few pictures from the Image 35 exhibition in Bankside Gallery. I have to admit that I was going with hope to see really amazing cutting edge new illustration work and I have to admit there was a little bit of nice and interesting work but mostly it was what you can see in any good magazine or nice book. Maybe I just move more towards fine art or I'm just stuck somewhere in between commertial and more fine art work......

Alli Coate
